About Island Soap & Candle Works
Located on the beautiful island of Kauai, Island Soap & Candle Works was established in the sleepy town of Kekaha in 1984. What began as a small line of handmade soaps has, over time, expanded to become a full line of natural Hawaiian Island Botanical lotions, beeswax candles, lip balms, salves and other gift items. First becoming popular on Kauai, their products soon spread to fine gift shops throughout Hawaii and can now be found on the mainland. The retail portion of the business sells soaps, candles, and gift items. The wholesale division manufactures and resells soaps for island stores throughout Hawaii and the mainland.
As their popularity grew, visitors to Hawaii began making requests to come and see how the products were made. So Island Soap opened a smaller version of their soap and candle factory in Kilauea. The store soon became a popular destination as both a charming retail gift shop and a working factory. Visitors could now watch soap and candles being made.
Seeking automation between QuickBooks and Bigcommerce
Before finding Connex, General Manager Steve Mitchell, was using Island Soaps own in-house integration to manage sales data.
