We’re all familiar with the My Connections page – the landing page users encounter when they login to Connex. By now, you’ve hopefully heard about Connex V3 coming this summer. Included in version three, we’ll be completely reworking the My Connections page and redesigning it into a useful dashboard (sneak peeks below!).
The new dashboard will feature a series of helpful widgets, essentially replacing the Transaction Log, with the goal of making it easier to understand exactly what Connex is accomplishing. In addition, the new dashboard will feature easier set-up, intuitive access to settings, and an easier means to manually or historically sync more than ever before.
Selling Channels
Replacing Manage Connections is Selling Channels. From here, users will be able to easily access settings, trigger manual/historical syncs, and even check to see when the last sync was run.
Orders Log
Next, we’re introducing an Orders Log. Similar to the Transaction Log; however, instead of showing you everything that Connex is doing, the Orders Log will only show successful order syncs.
Errors Log
Just like the Orders Log (shown above) error messages will be displayed within their own, separate log to make it easier to understand and prevent important messages getting lost in a larger aggregate log. In addition, this should make it easier than ever before to troubleshoot common QuickBooks-related issues.
Product Mapping
Everyone uses SKU’s (stock keeping units) to identify and track products, right? Unfortunately, sometimes SKU’s don’t match across multiple platforms. With the new Product Mapper, we’re making it easier than ever before to see, at a glance, which products may require your attention.
This looks great. How can I try it out?
As you can see, we have a lot of great ideas for improving the user experience. However, we can’t validate our ideas or even know what to build next with out your feedback. Therefore, we need your help.
Connex V3 is available now in open beta for Connex Desktop customers. You can try it out by clicking here.
